"I am a textile artist with a lifelong interest in arts and crafts; kindled while growing up in a practical and creative family during the golden age of handicrafts and DIY during the 1970’s.
I first started working with felt over ten years ago, as my interest grew I began experimenting with different applications and techniques, such as needle felting. I have worked with incorporating needlecraft and beading, and exploring innovative materials such as various fibres and recycled elements.
I employ a hands-on, learning as you create approach, within a friendly group atmosphere, to provide knowledge, advice and ideas for further experimentation. I try to make my workshops flexible, with the possibility of exploring different avenues within the subject.
I get great satisfaction seeing students leave surprised by their achievements and proud of their creations."
